Described as the “go-to girl in branding,” Tanya Salcido is the founder and lead creative of Design Action Studios, a creative studio that focuses on building brand game plans that empower clients with a crystal clear image, story and delivery – allowing those brands to flourish. With her 10 years of professional experience in the design industry, Tanya not only transforms businesses with her creative skills, she educates entrepreneurs and business owners by speaking on social media and branding panels and conducting social media workshops. She is a weekly business blogger with OC Metro, and her written work has also appeared in Professional Woman’s Magazine and Hispanic Network Magazine.

Given her passion for her work and her industry, and a “genuine desire to see others succeed,” Tanya is active in a number of social media and branding networks and communities – both online and offline – and has been an active member of the Orange Chamber of Commerce, where she proudly served as an Ambassador. She is also the Co-Founder of ConnectOC, a non-profit that connects the Orange County community through social media, and has served as the Vice President of the TEAM Referral Network Orange Chapter.

To further flex her marketing muscle, Tanya recently became an Inbound Marketing Certified Professional, joining an elite group of professionals proficient in inbound marketing principles and best practices including blogging, search engine optimization, social media, lead conversion and lead nurturing.

Although she’s driven and dedicated to her business, this Orange County native doesn’t believe in being all work and no play. Tanya loves wine and exploring California’s wine regions, cooking, and watching 80’s movie classics like The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Valley Girl. She is also an avid baseball fan, which once led to her scoring an Ultimate Fan grand prize from the Angels.
